Our Camp Budget
For those of you who would like to know where all the money goes, this should help a little...
Firstly, Nobody receives a salary, Nobody gets paid anything, Nobody gains financially through any means whatsoever.
For now, the Website Maintenance and Server Space is being given for free, All camp belongings that are not in our storage unit are being stored elsewhere for free, even some Vehicles are being loaned for free!
Not everything has been grabbed for free, here are some of the costs to date (approx):
$5000 CouchCar Art Car Project
$3000 Gas, Transportation and Vehicle Hire
$3000 Solar Pannel Array
$1500 Generator (+fuel)
$1000 Alcohol, food and snacks
$1000 Storage unit (1 year's fee)
$1000 Shower/Water Evapouration Unit (+Gray Water Removal)
$500 Propane, cooking and eating utensils
$100 Mutant Sofa maintenance and repair
$100 Repairs to Structures (storm and general "Playa" damage)
$150 Garbage and recycling bags/containers (and removal/disposal from the Playa)
$100 Rebar and Structural Fixings
$500 Communal bikes and their repair
$500 Recommended and discussed upgrades
$350 Communal Camp Swag
$800 PayPal fees
As organising continues this budget will be updated, be advised that this budget will likely expand rather than decrease!
Please note that certain items on it are subject to revision, removal, or adaptation depending on how planning goes over the next few months, also this list is not prioritized, if there is a shortage of Camp Fees collected then things will get struck from the budget...
